How far ahead should I order?
Custom cakes, about 2 weeks. From the short list, 1 week. Sweets, 72 hours. If your date is sooner, ask anyway — sometimes it works.

How does pricing work?
The short list has fixed prices. Custom cakes are quoted individually — two cakes the same size can be very different jobs. You get the price before anything is agreed, and it doesn't change afterwards.
What sizes are there?
Sizes are described by how many people they serve, because that's the number that helps. Most serve 10–14. Larger is made to order.
Can I ask for a specific flavour?
Yes, and Ada would rather you did. If she hasn't made it before she'll say so, rather than experiment on your occasion.
Can I send a photograph?
Please do. Ada won't copy another baker's work exactly, but it's the fastest way to explain what you're imagining.
Do you deliver?
Within 10 miles of [YOUR TOWN], £8. Collection is free, and safer for tall cakes. Bread is collection only.

How does the deposit work?

Is there bread every week?
One bake day, a set number of loaves. Order by [DAY] for [BAKE DAY]. It sells out.

Can you cater for allergies?

Is there a minimum order?
£65 for cakes and custom work. Sweets and bread have no minimum.
What if my date is taken?
Ada takes around 6 orders a week and weekends fill early. She'll tell you straight away rather than squeeze you in and do it worse.
